Police Chief Simulator Launch Week in Winston Springs
Official posts from the final days before the 17 September 2026 full version.
The week before 17 September 2026, Perfect Circle Team posted a string of “only N days left” notes. This page is that countdown in one place: the bus station, shared-universe progress, and environmental destruction. It is not a claim that the paid campaign has unlocked. Steam still listed the full app as not yet available while those posts went up.
Gameplay how-tos stay in the Guides Hub. Dates stay on release date. Build differences stay on prologue versus full.
10 September — the bus station
A Steam community post titled WINSTON SPRINGS UNIVERSE: The Bus Station put the hero’s story at the local bus station. That is where the new chief’s career is framed as beginning — not in a cutscene shootout, in a small-town arrival. The same note said that in one week you would start the new career and explore a city where different characters’ stories start to connect.
It also pointed at a Garage Monkeys Car Dealer Simulator devlog for the town from the other studio’s angle. Same streets, different job. The universe page keeps that distinction.
Use the bus station as flavour when you walk the map. Do not expect a required Car Dealer Simulator save.
11 September — environmental destruction
SOON IN FULL VERSION: Environmental Destruction followed a vehicle-damage post. The pitch: if patrol cars can come home dented, scenery is not always immortal. A fence between you and a fleeing suspect may give. The date stamped on that promise is the full version, 17 September 2026.
How damage and workshops work is on patrol car. How the worn cruiser was introduced is the older “Rusty Resurgence” note summarised there. This launch-week page only records that destruction was the last big systems teaser before unlock.
12 September — one world, shared progress
WINSTON SPRINGS UNIVERSE: One World, Shared Progress sat at “5 days left.” The store page used it as the latest announcement while the countdown still showed the game as not available. Treat it as marketing for connected stories in the county, not as a patch that merges two Steam apps.
Dispatch flavour in the same week
Alongside the location teasers, official copy kept repeating the command loop for the full county: choose a case, assemble a team, prepare equipment, send officers, wait for the result. That is the hiring plus map layer, not the Prologue broom.
If a YouTube title from 10 September says “EA full release,” that is a creator preview. This wiki’s public date remains 17 September 2026 until the store page says the product is available.
What to do with this list
- Wishlist from official links.
- Play the Demo so the desk is muscle memory.
- Read a first-look review if you are still deciding.
- After unlock, move to patch notes for whether fences, workshops, and the bus-station beat actually shipped.
What is still not a launch-week fact
- A locked dollar price. This wiki will not invent one while the store is still in pre-release presentation.
- A full-app review score. Copying the Prologue’s mid-80s percent onto app 2938460 is dishonest.
- Console SKUs. Steam lists Windows.
- Save migration from Prologue or Demo. Wait for patch notes.
If you only have time for one extra page besides this calendar, read the review so the broom does not surprise you, then the patrol car page so the dented-cruiser teasers have a home. Then go stamp files. Keep the first-day checklist open while the installer runs.
Launch week is a press calendar. The desk is still the skill.
