This hub tracks Police Chief Simulator as a living Steam project, not as a finished 1.0 encyclopedia. Perfect Circle Team S.A. scheduled the full Windows release for 17 September 2026. Before that date they shipped a free Prologue (April 2026) and a larger Demo (July 2026). Full-game Steam reviews do not exist yet because the paid campaign has not launched.
If you only need a date, open release date and roadmap. For the final-week teasers (bus station, shared universe, environmental destruction), open launch week. If you need to know why your copy has no city chase, open prologue versus full game. If something in the station changed after a hotfix, open patch notes.
What “upcoming” means on this wiki
Facts on every page follow content/facts.json: the full game is upcoming, platforms are Steam, and Steam lists single-player only. When a guide describes the broom and the stamp desk, that is playable now in the intro builds. When a guide describes gang leaders, district control, or environmental destruction during chases, that is studio-stated full-game direction, not a claim that those systems already shipped to everyone.

The three builds chiefs mix up
- Prologue – Early Days (Steam app 4224800) — free, station-first, Very Positive player reports around the mid-80s percent. Peak concurrent numbers were in the hundreds on launch week.
- Demo (Steam app 4532800) — free, larger slice, streets and extra systems on top of the Prologue loop. Released 20 July 2026.
- Full game (Steam app 2938460) — paid, scheduled 17 September 2026, wishlists estimated in the ~20k range in the days before launch. Steam Cloud and Family Sharing are listed. Single-player only.
The Getting Started guide is safe for all three. The Winston Springs map page tells you when a feature is still a store-page promise.
How we source notes
Patch text on this wiki is summarised from official Steam news (hotfixes, teasers, shared-universe posts) and from playable intro builds. We do not invent percentages or dates. If a creator uploaded an “EA full release” stream a week early, that is a preview key, not a public launch. The public date remains 17 September 2026 until Steam says otherwise.

What to watch after 17 September
Launch week should add: paid-campaign reviews, a real price on the store (this wiki will not guess a locked figure), whether Steam Deck status improves, and whether patrol/gang systems match the trailer.
